I had to go get my wedding ring cut off because my finger was hurting and no matter what I tried I couldn't get it off. Just FYI if anyone is in the same boat go to your fire station they have the tools to do it and then when I can I can get it fixed.

I'm back on benlysta, i got the infusion yesterday evening and im glad im back on it. I believe it truly helped me and I will never stop it again because once I stopped the infusion I was in such bad shape, in pain and fingers swelling up. I have not gained weight from the Benlysta, only the prednisone seems to get me bloated. Its definitely worth a try. Blessings to you☺

@A MyLupusTeam Member I've been on Benlysta for years. My first few treatments made one side of my face numb. They gave me Benadryl and it went away. After the 4th or 5th treatment, it stopped happening to me. Benlysta has been a lifesaver for me.

Last Wednesday I'd my 3rd infusion of Benlysta on Thursday when I awoken my left side of my face was swollen also my lip on the same side felt numb like after you've anesthesia from dental work. I looked up the side effects then called my doctors office which the nurse said yes it was a side effect no more Benlysta for me .

I have a infusion once a mth of benlysta. It does help with the pain. It takes 3-4 times before you really feel the difference well that was me. Everyone is different. Yes it can cause weight gain. I think that is with anything that helps with lupus though. Hope this helps if I can answer anymore questions feel free to ask. 💜💜
