My rheumatologist told me that fevers are not associated with flares, but mine always seem to be, with a temperature between 101° and 104.5°. I thought I had seen other people comment here about also having fevers with their flares. I see my rheumatologist tomorrow, and wanted to be able to give her some other people's experiences.

Low grade fevers are always a sign that I'm starting a flare

Yes. Fevers are a common symptom with a lupus flare. Usually a low grade fever.

I always run a fever with my flares and many days I have a low grade fever. I find I have absolutely no cold or heat tolerance and easily feel the change in my body. My face and head flush and heat up quickly. And we are so prone to infections that even one hour around a sick person can cause us to have a minor flare. 💞🙏

My temp drops and has gone as low as 94.7. Scares the daylights out of me.

I run random fevers all the time! My Rheumy has been saying it's not Lupus for years. He said Female issues! LOL Done with all that now and still running fevers, Almost every article on Lupus, that I've read, says fevers are a symptom! Just saying! LOL
