My Neurologist ordered an EMG and would like to know some results from other Lupies.

I decided you are all very brave. As a lupie I realised almost every symptom I have...is due to Lupus. I have learnt so much in the questions and answers of this Lupus Team. And I thank each and every person for their input. My motto is...take your meds and stay away from a GP as much as possible. Pray that research will bring a solution. Blessings to all dear friends in 2017. May God keep you in His tender care.

Yes, I have had it a couple of times... it is kind of neat, sounds weird I know, but it is amazing at the same time....they will shock you and cause your muscles to twitch, they also record your muscles and it sounds kinda like when ya record a baby's heartbeat.... some of the needles did hurt me a little in certain parts of my body, but it was very minor....I have peripheral Neuropathy as well as bilateral carpal tunnel and myopathy so I am happy to have had it done to confirm my suspicions! Best of ☘luck, best thing to do is go in and relax!😇

I had one done. They diagnosed me with peripheral neuropathy. I'm not going to lie it was not a fun test

I was booked in for one, ended up having the nerve stimulation test.- no needles. Results 'boarder line' got to wait for new app for EMG as Neuro suspects PN due to the symptoms.
None of these endless tests are fun...but we are strong. We go through so much each and every day...The tests don't last long and we will cope... as we are ....super lupies! (Forgive me, I'm running a temperature so I think I'm having a nutty moment)

I was having a lot of pain in my right foot and it hurts so bad to stand on it so my foot doctor ordered a MRI and a x-ray it showed that I have arthritis in my feet. I am a diabetic so I also have nerve damage in my foot also. Kathyann I hope that you get a answer soon and it is nothing to serious.
