@A MyLupusTeam Member Are the doing a trans-vaginal ultrasound to check your uterine lining and to look for possible fibroids/polyps? Many times with passing clots and excessive bleeding you do have a hormonal imbalance and will have fibroids/polyps. Often they want to treat with low-dose BCPs. That does help for many. If fibroids/polyps are present, they may recommend a D&C. Another option might be an ablation.

Make sure they also do bloodwork. Estrogen, estradiol, testosterone, progesterone.

Keep us posted!

For me I was diagnosed with Lupus then started going through menopause. I'm having a terrible time of it with migraines and excessive bleeding and passing clots. Having sonogram later this week to see what's going on.
