Every now and then i bump my hand or elbow or knee or whatever on something. Hard enough that it hurts for a minute but we all have hit our funny bone. Thats kinda about how hard it is. But afterward i get a knot on the spot that wont go away for several days up to a week and a half sometimes. And it REALLY hurts. I dont understand how just a little norml bump can hurt so bad. Does anyone else get these knots? Is this anything to do with lupus or just mabye getting older?

I get them sometimes when I hit my leg, thigh or somewhere on my arm. Very painful, and it stays there for a few days.

I get knots in my muscles especially the arms and I dont even have to get hit. It hurts like the dickens. They get the size of a half dollar coin sometimes but usually size of a quarter. Ill also have places that feels like bad bruises but no color of a bruise. I also bruise easily with ugly purple bruises. Ugh

Yes!! I was just wondering the same thing. A lady elbowed me on my hip playing basketball a few weeks ago. Now I have a lump of something in the middle of the bruise. I've never had that before.

I bruise very easily. I'm always hitting my leg on the end of the coffee table. The bruises last for several days. I try to be careful but sometimes it just happens. Silly me. I'm not sure that Lupus has anything to do with it.
