Yes! I an unsure as to what exactly they are but I get quarter sized knots/lumps on my arms and legs. I do have several in the thigh area. My lymph nodes are always swollen and I have problems swallowing. Have you received any feedback on this?

Question: Are you experiencing knots or lumps under your skin with lupus?

Lupus can affect the skin in several ways, particularly through cutaneous lupus erythematosus (CLE). This condition can cause thickened, scaly patches or lesions on the skin that may feel like knots or lumps. These patches can appear anywhere on the body and may be painful or cause a deep, burning sensation, though some people don't experience any discomfort. If you're experiencing any unusual skin changes or sensations, it's important to discuss them with your healthcare provider. They can properly evaluate the cause and develop an appropriate treatment plan. Be sure to note:

• Where the knots are located
• How long you've had them
• Whether they cause pain or other symptoms
• If they change in size or appearance
• What makes them better or worse
