Its cutaneous discoid lupus sores on your head. I know them well and that is what my autoimmune dermatologist tells me whenever I show him random spots on my head that are red and crusted. Sometimes the sores are a couple of pimple-feeling bumbs. Some crust up. Some dont and become a blister. Sometimes the sores coalesce to form a patch. I cant help picking at them. I am supposed to apply Rx Clobetasol steroid ointment on them, but who wants sticky ointment on top of crusty sores on your head in public? If you dont have Rx, then hydrocortisone will also work.
