During a flare I have had this . I'm glad you are discussing this as it is hard to describe to a Dr. I'm sorry you are experiencing this.

You are the first person I have seen that has said that. They always ask me about joint pain and I try to make them understand that my pain and weakness is mostly muscular. How did you make them understand?

my lupus is mostly muscular with uncontrolled spasms and stiffness. If I do not continually try to move I won't it seems. So not so much bone pain although I do get it sometimes.

Yes, I didn't know Lupus could do this until I came to this site. I felt light headed and began staggering when I walked. My muscles got weak in my legs and I couldn't walk very far. I had trouble lifting my legs into car. I thought I might have MS but that was ruled out. A lot of people on the site have mentioned this. Good luck. Hope you feel better soon.

I am having severe issues with muscle weakness. Walking is very difficult. Steps are almost impossible. It’s Mainly in my left upper arm and both legs. I have been suffering, but hoping they’ll get the medicine right and it will go away. I was just diagnosed with ESL last week.
