Eatonville, WA

Hello all, I hope everyone is well.
I had to leave town this morning and I discovered I had forgotten my plaquenil. I wont be home til Sunday, does anyone know if not talking it for 4 days will cause any issues?

Hello everyone,
I wanted to post an update about my meds in another state.
My pharmacy is a CVS pharmacy, at first I didn't even realize that where I was going would have a compatible pharmacy. I went to the first one I saw, (Long's Drugs) It just happened to also be a CVS pharmacy, they were able to transfer my prescription within the hour and I got my medication.
I think that its important to have a pharmacy like this just in case of emergencies, or forgetfulness like mine. lol

It shouldn't be a big problem, plaquenil stays in your blood for a long time.

I don't know about your particular drug but I do know you can go to a local pharmacy and they can call your pharmacy and provide you with emergency pills for 4 days. It's simple. Just talk to a local pharmacist and he/she will help you. Done this many times in my travels.

If there isn't a partner pharmacy, you can go to any pharmacy and they can call your pharmacy and transfer prescription. Just be aware when you get home you need to tell your pharmacy to transfer it back to them. No big deal. Glad you didn't miss your medication. 🤗

Plaquenil take a long time to build up in your system, even longer to leave. You should be fine. Good Luck!
