I am in peri-menopause. When my monthly comes around (or not), the week before I am sooo sick. Also, mid way through the monthly cycle I will flare. Does anyone have flares related to their periods?

I finally had a Hysterectomy with my abnormal bleeding. My GYN advised me to have after DNC didn't help for only 3 months. Do not regret it.

Yes! My flares include skin lesions and eczema like patches that concentrate on my face/scalp. It can take almost a week after my cycle for those to heal.. Ugh! My OB/GYN has placed an IUD in attempt to reduce or stop my cycle. She is hoping that will in turn reduce the related flares. Fingers crossed.
