After Surgeries

I've had two surgeries in the last six months and was wondering if anyone else feels like after they have surgery that particular spot feels almost worse than it did and if so how long did it normally take my surgeon who did both my foot surgery seems to say it's my lupus

I had orthoscopic knee and shoulder surgery and it felt like the pain was worse and ended up getting arthritis in it and always in pain that was over 11 years ago and I’m still in pain
