I have found it is not a fungal infection but.........My Raynaud and Lupus....When my toes begin to turn more dark purple then I need to see a wound specialist and keep in mind amputation. I just love good news!!!!

Fungal infections can affect the toenails. Maybe see a dermatologist?

I would get that checked out I hope I am wrong but was told black stripes on toe nails could be a sign of a heart problem. gentle hugs and blessings

black and brown stripes that doesn't sound good may be you should see a dermatologist i have also had problems with yeast in the past but was given a pill for it but that on the toes doesn't sound like yeast maybe a side effect of the medication it self good luck sorry to know that happened to you
