My last ANA test came back negative but the DS DNA for the lupus came back positive... The doctor told me that I have all the Tendencies of lupus but wanted to run more tests and does not want to diagnose me with lupus yet.. Has this happened to anyone else, if so what did you do? I have been going through this pain for three years....
Thank you.

Yes... my ANA has been positive twice but not a diagnosis of Lupus but show many Lupus symptoms and on medication for "Lupus"... not exactly sure if it is an insurance thing or health center protocol. I was told that some positive ANA is not an indicator for Lupus.

Deans thank you. I have all of the symptoms but still not diagnosed so they won't put me on medication for lupus. And yes it is definitely the health center doctors protocol .... I will be seeing a lupus specialist in March thanks again take care. ☺

Hello Agt. That is a mighty long time, since 2003. Sorry but I don't know of any topical steroids. Good luck!!
