Hi Lizl. Body jerks and fevers are both definitely a reality when you have Lupus. Low grade fevers are a symptom and I get them whether I have a flare or not. I have arm and hand jerks often and leg jerks mostly when sleeping. My hand jerks are bothersome when I'm working on my PC. I haven't had a whole body jerk yet, but with Lupus you never know what will come next. I accept all my strange symptoms and I'm not surprised at anything. Praying for you. Hugs and blessings.

Over the 20+ years i have dealt with Lupus, i have found that I know more than my doctor half of the time. You know your body. Listen to it and make the doctor listen to you. I often get fevers with Lupus - in and out of flares. I’d get a second opinion if your doc doesn’t start listening to you. Take care!! ❌⭕️

What’s normal for some may not be normal for you. Get it checked out. Your Rheumie doesn’t sound very educated in Lupus. Fevers are one of the criteria.
