Do you have fibromyalgia? This was happening to me and my doctor told me it was this. Fibromyalgia can be very common with Lupus.

definitely!
My skin is so tender at times, and I did some research and little did I know that the skin is the largest organ of our body. So with a disease like this, it attacks soft tissue - and definitely, our skin is soft tissue.
"The human skin is the outer covering of the body. In humans, it is the largest organ of the integumentary system. The skin has up to seven layers of ectodermal tissue"
I have a lounger made from bamboo and it is so soft and light that it's bearable when the sensitivity starts. And, I use compression tights to help with the pain of the tenderness.
Thank you for all the shares <3

I do. Its nerve pain which is a sign of Fibromyalgia which goes hand in hand with SLE. Before bed, I wash my legs and feet in cool water and I keep my house cooler. I've tried a few medications, but I seemed to be allergic to most. I live in Colorado and marijuana is legal here. I have never been a pot smoker or ever been drawn that way, but when my leg pain got really bad this past year, my daughter brought me a cream that doesn't have the THC (what gets you high) in it and it helped when nothing else would. I never thought I would try marijuana products, but it helped me.

I have read all of these and I am with each one of you. Everyone thinks you are looking for sympathy, I just want them to understand. I told my grandson I hurt from the piece of hair on my head to the tip of my toes! My skin is so itchy and my head. My hair is so dry. Hurts to walk. 😭
