Have any of you found that if you get a common cold it takes a lot longer to go away when you also have lupus? I’ve been sick since last week & am still struggling with symptoms to go away.

The 2-3 years before being diagnosed I would get a horrible cold in November and it would take a long time to go away and then my cough would last until February. I have noticed it being better after being on plaquenil but I still stay sick longer than most people I know.

Oh yea, last winter i caught a cold and got sick on Nov 8 and it lasted well into March. First with the cold which morphed into RAD then with the after party effects of @prednisone, albuterol, and antibiotics.

Just got over some sort of respiratory infection and it took 2 weeks instead of 7 days. Yuck! Also, my number of 'colds' has increased tremendously. I used to average only 1 a year. I've already had 3 this winter season.
