I have unbearable lumps in my legs. Ranging from small marble size to iceberg size. Husband aggressively rubs them and while the pain intensifies, it ulitmately dissipates the masses to a tolerable level and the lumps get smaller. By the next day the lumps return. What are they???? Does anyone else have this going on???

You can definitely have RA and Lupus and a host of other autoimmune diseases together. Find out tho. One can be biopsied and you'll know for certain. Typically, the most troubling ones are excised. Controlling RA symptoms is easier with biologics so maybe the proper treatment could help keep those at bay. So sorry you have that symptom. Will be praying for relief.

That sounds exactly what it might be… But I was diagnosed with RA before lupus… And my understanding was from my charts that I was just lupus now. Now you have me wondering if it could be both. My legs are terrible. My initial diagosis was very clumsy. Is there a cure for these lumps? Or a way to lessen them?

RA will cause those and they are calcifications. Do you have RA as well? We used to see patients with those and they were very painful. So sorry and hope you get answers and help soon. God bless you!

I’m having a similar issue but mine are on each side of my neck sometimes heat shrinks them some but they won’t go away and have been there for about 6 months. I’ve had every test except a biopsy or aspiration and no one can tell me what they are. They cause pain and are very frustrating. I’ve seen so many specialists who are unsure what they are. They appeared after a new mediport placement.
