The ER doctor said this was from an allergic reaction and I was wondering if it is possibly lupus related. Has anyone else experienced Inflammation like what is pictured?

Do tell your doc when you see him/her. Since Lupus has to do with the immune system, I think that it can affect all kinds of tissues, and with a flare-up there is inflammation and swelling, so be sure please to see your doc asap. Along with all the symptoms that many of us share such as fatigue and pain and more, those things happen because something is going on with our body. Such as the inflammation and swelling that happens throughout our body and can be telling us that there is tissue damage happening in all kinds of organs. I don’t like to think about the fact that with my flare-ups that there is organ/tissue damage going on. That’s too scary. So please, please take care of yourself and tell the doc everything. Many prayers for you and hope and healing thoughts.

Have you let your Lupus Doctor see it? They would be the best ones to ask. You need to get relieved I know that. It looks like it hurts
