Like if you’ve been dating a month or so?

It depends on how you really feel about that person and which direction you think the relationship is going.

Has this person seen you when you have been at your worst and how have they responded?

Basically you will know when it will be the right time to let them know.

@A MyLupusTeam Member hello! I've had Lupus since 1995 and I have learned that in a months time it's necessary in my opinion to be up front with him. Some not all men can't handle what all comes with it. It's too much for us. Well I'll speak for myself. Lol! I wish you the best. Take care of yourself.

I am single and plan to be for a while lol. My last relationship ended for other reasons but his general lack of empathy made it so he couldn't deal with health issues. But in my experience, you will definitely see those qualities within a month. If the relationship is getting serious, definitely tell them. Some people just aren't able to deal and are scared off by what they don't understand 😥 I know I would prefer to know sooner than later. Good luck!

I have had Lupus since 2013. I have learned to be upfront with the people I your life. Only you can decide when the the time is right for you to tell them. I told my current SO after 3 months. We are still together but it has been hard. He had to take care of me for 4 months after I had a flare. It was really hard because we were still getting to know each other.

Banesha, how close and how tight are you? Are you really involved? Me, I would wait, and wait, and see where it goes, and then I would tell. Maybe....Maybe I wouldn't say a thing. Use your judgement. Good Luck.! stay well doll.
