My question is dose everyone with and without lupus have anti dsdna is it normaly in bloods?or dose it only show up.if theres something going on ,thanks would appreciate some advice x
Thanks very much for explaining its all so confusing and trying to get answers at the moment , iam starting to feel like a hypochondriac very frustrating.I really appreciate the help x
Hi as I understand it, approx 65 to 85% of lupus patients has +ve antidsDNA. These are generally at moderate to high levels in lupus but may be +ve but much lower in other autoimmune condition. Anti dsdna are part of the Ana family. So you can have lupus but be dsdna negative or at very low levels. Hope this helps.
