Does anyone experience low blood pressure in relation to any of their autoimmune diseases? My blood pressure has been dropping at each doctors appt. My last reading was 90/44. I do not take any meds that would affect my blood pressure. My primary care is reaching out to my rheumatologist to discuss as he is the one that has noticed this.

My blood pressure is rather low. I realized after getting pretty regular readings of 100/60 or lower at the doctor that I probably dip even lower while resting. So I got a bp machine to check. There are times I’m in the 80/50 range. I’ve noticed when I wake up from dream I’m falling or ill my bp is very low. It’s also very low the days I’m tired and feel half comatose

I did a bunch of reading about this and the UK Lupus group has a very long thread about it. Seems many over on that message board have low pressure and that it is connected to autoimmune disease

Mine is always low also and no one ever seems concerned. I was wondering if it was related to the autoimmune and feeling tired all the time??

My blood pressure was normally 130/70. Then, the next month it was 90/45. Because it dropped so quickly, there was an issue with my aorta. It is a rare complication of SLE. My arteries are clear and my BP is 100/65, usually. I meditate and do breath work every day, so I no longer have an issue with BP.

My BP is generally low. All my docs seem to feel this is fine

Do you run low normally? Mine tends to be around 100/55. The nurse always has to double check my chart and remind herself that I tend to be toward the low end. To my knowledge, they aren't as concerned with low b.p. as they are with high b.p., unless you are having other symptoms such as dizziness.
