So this is going to get really personal but I'd really appreciate some answers. Ive been having this issue for months now. I was on the deppo shot for a few years and everything was fine. I also developed Sjogrens and cannot stand the pain of sex. My husband is so very understanding as nothing helped. He told me he loves me regardless and cuddling, hugging and kissing are terrific as long as we love each other is all that matters. He knew I was in horrific pain trying to have sex. Sjogrens has dried every bit of skin, my eyes, my mouth and now my throat is ulcerated to the point I cannot eat hot food, especially if cooked in oil such as fries at a fast food. We have a very great marriage and our love has not changed but only gotten stronger. My husband almost died due to blood clots in his legs after surgery. The dryness can be from Sjogrens. I only had problems due to medications and depression. And not having sex for long periods really helped detriorate my previous relationship.
Sorry for my ignorance, does the Deppo shot have estrogen?
Meanwhile, please try to use your imagination with your partner, all kinds of intimacy are important. Make sure your GYN pays attention to your complains and do all the exams and follow ups.
I had that problem years ago they said endometriosis i had a hysterectomy 11 years ago because of it. They gave me testosterone creams and estegin too. It gave me 2 blood clots. I have no sex drive anymore. And cant even stand the thought of being touched. ( hard on my husband i guess) i havent had sex in over a year. Now i wonder if lupus had something to do with all the pain and dryness and bleeding. On top of endometriosis. I dont know if this will help you any. But. It was a problem for me to.

Find an ob/gyn that will listen to you. Sjogrens makes EVERYTHING dry.
I have searched this very question and was also hoping for a suggestion. Im equally sorry that others are experiening this very thing as its so painful and i’m also a little relieved that its not just me! I will ask my doctor as well and hope something will work.
