UVA and UVB light makes lupus worse for many of us. This includes sunlight. The only solution is to avoid the sun or block it with high broad spectrum SPF blocks, sun proof clothes, and shade. Know that even if you are in shade, sunlight reflected from sand, pool decks and other sources still hits you.
