Sorry I’m asking so much on here lately but symptoms are driving me crazy. Does anyone suffer from a white coating on their tongue? I do not take any medications which could cause this. It’s really annoying and thrush treatment has made no difference. It’s really unpleasant and my doctor just dismisses it. Anything I eat or drink turns my tongue the colour of whatever I’m consuming making me feel self conscious and un attractive
Hi I'm going through the same thing so I know how it is sometimes if I have a bad flare like now. I get thrush and like now the fluconazole and nystatin does nothing for me either. I found some CANDIDA Complex pills on Amazon I'm using them and I painted my tongue with gentian violet and it is starting to clear up. It's only been a couple of days but I can see pink again on my tongue
I go through it all the time! I have rinse, the lozenge, I take probiotics to kill the yeast, zero sugar, peroxide rinse, plain, no sugar yogurt, tons of water. In my experience, probiotics probably cleared it up the fastest. 💕
Nystatin swish and spit works really good too. It is by prescription only. It took mine away in two days.
I contracted thrush last year after two rounds of prednisone. It took a long time to clear up. I did not have good luck with the swish and swallow, so they gave me a pill (can’t remember what). I also eliminated all sugars for several weeks, and bought a month long candida detox from Nature’s Sunshine. Eventually it cleared up. Hope it clears for you.
Thank you @A MyLupusTeam Member it’s comforting to know I’m not alone. I’ve got some acidophilus capsules and probiotic drinks so fingers crossed they work! 💜
