Yes Thrush and sjorgens i have the way ur tounge was and I also get white as it progresses they prescribed me nystatin/ or if u can't get to Dr. Cuz of weekend but they also said Biotin mouth wash it does work when I don't have nystatin. I think I spelled rite. 7 was able to take a pic of what helps with the mouth pain here is a pic of the name.. I hope it helps they also gave me 2 more mouth meds to help with it. I really think its a yeast infection. Usually I do one pill my doctor did a weeks worse and it's slowly getting better! Call your doctor back.

How many meds did they give you? I am on mine for a week. My tongue is still messed up but getting better.
