Many meds cause this to happen- The Red spots are Petechia. The bruising is likely not a clot unless the area is red, swollen and hot. Typically a bruise won't present on a clot, only pain with redness, swelling and heat. Always check out a concern with your doc. Also make sure you're getting enough Vitamin C to build stronger vessel and capillary walls. Hope this helps😘

I had to change meds multiple times due to bruising. I wouldn't even have to bump into something. They just randomly would surface and I would also wake up, take a shower and be shocked! I also get red spots but they look more like some one attacked me with a safety pin or needle on my upper arms, abdomen and chest. I was informed they're Lupus related.

Same thing happens to me constantly and another thing is sometimes I can feel a bruise coming before it shows itself on my skin. That freaks me out alot

I get many bruises also. I was told since I take a bloodthinner it was normal but you should still get that checked out to be sure

I just saw this, sorry! I get bruises out of nowhere as well. I take blood thinners, plaquenil and steroids. That's what they told me they're from. But, get it checked out!!! I had a blood clot, thought it was one of my mystery bruises and almost lost my foot!!
