Hi!
I'm considering getting a tattoo with my friend in a couple of weeks... what are your thoughts on how safe, complications, etc... thank you all! 💜

Hi Lupus is represented by 2 symbols, a wolf internal
and a butterfly for the Face.

Got a tattoo 1.5 years ago. Can't say if I flared or not, but nothing severe. The tattoo symbolized something meaningful for me so that may have overshadowed any symptoms. It was my first tattoo, and although I tolerated it and have no regrets, it did hurt, so if its your first, prepare yourself.

HI, Not a good idea with Lupus. Any time you do anything that is foreign
to your body--Lupus will Flare Up.
I know, because 2 people in my lupus group did a tasteful tattoo and
they had to be admitted to the hospital. I do not know about much other
than they attempted a tattoo!!!
