It can happen especially if you have arthritis in your fingers. You may need to take periodic breaks from typing.

My shoulder locks up on me every now and then. It scared me the first time. Now I rub pain cream on it to help ease the pain and loosen it.

I have had that happen and when it does i heat up a rice pack and hold it. It allieviates some pain

Just like everyone said it's a trigger finger and it comes and goes

Try to move it much as possible and massageing it will help circulation. Feel better!
