I was wondering about blood tests. I have had bw at both my primary care physician and two rheumatologist which my PCP sent me to, the second because she apparently thinks the first was wrong. My PCP said the first showed ANA + and possible CTD, she suggested maybe lupus because of the symptoms. This was before the confirmed PMLE with two biopsies both pos. PMLE is polymorphous light eruption. (Allergic to the sun). I get hives, nausea, and dizziness. Lasts for days to weeks. Usually by the evening or second day after being outside for a while I have horrible pain.
Yes connective tissue disease.
I am on beta blocker for fast heart rate and I think they said pcv or something with extra and missed beats. Cymbalta for anxiety and fibromyalgia. Doesn't work for the fibro but great for the anxiety which I've had for twenty years. Vitamin D 50000 for life according to my Dr. Omeprazole for Gerd and occasional gastritis. Last steroid cream for PMLE flares. Nothing for the joints flares or headaches.
