Why are there no pharmaceutical commercials for Lupus.... we see commercials for RA. PA, MS, etc. We need to get information out there on the media about lupus and it’s treatments!!!!

Jashetta have your rhemumotolgist, send you to a kidney Dr.( Nephrologist) I'm surprised that he hasn't done it yet. Second if your pain is more than you can stand. Go to urgent care. Check with your primary care physician. Heck call your primary care doctor now..For me when I had.high levels of protein in my urine. My Lupus was very active. You have to be your on advcate. Don't keep waiting for the call you. You call your primary an go from there

Sounds like chronic kidney disease to me. If you haven't had that checked recently please do.

Hi Jashetta, I've learned that a high white count could mean infection or severe inflammation of a body part. Do u have a nephrologist or urologist?. If rheumy does not get back to u in 2 days, go to a walk in medical Center ( call first for appointment, due to Covid.) You don,'t want to get worse. In mid August I was hospitalized as my diabetes was bad, then learned I had a kidney infection, when I was admitted. I just thought my Interstitial Cystitis was flaring. Jashetta, you have to put yourself first. Feel better. Stay safe.🎄⛄

Thanks everyone for the advice, ive reached out to my rheumy about the results shes waiting for all of the labs to come in but she will get back to me by tomorrow. Im really concerned that my kidneys are having some type of issue, i think that shes going to send me to a specialist but im not sure, just waiting to hear back from her now
