So I was 12 when I was diagnosed. I had cytoxin at 18 for lupus nephritis and that mixed with all of the other stuff I'd taken for treatment during adolescence-they told me I was likely sterile and even if I ever did get pregnant my body would likely reject it. Not gonna lie-miscarriage is common. Pregnancy can also bring on a flare- either during pregnancy or post partum probably due to hormone fluctuation.
So I found out I was pregnant at 28 and my provider referred me to a specialist in high risk pregnancies. Before I had my appointment, I miscarried 1 (they were fraternal twins-I didn't even know until they showed the ultrasound). But I started on progesterone to stay pregnant. I had to have more than the regular appointments and many ultrasounds and he was born a month early. 20 years later and we're both still here. He has had a few issues, but we don't know if they're related to the meds I had to take to stay pregnant or damage already done to my eggs before pregnancy.
Didn't mean to write a book there- sorry! That's my experience. So it is possible- you just have to be informed.

I had my son 13 years ago. I was 38. My first child. I was very scared also. I had not been diagnosed with Lupus yet but had reoccurring colitis for 13 years. I did go to a specialty obgyn. I was in remission at the time and continued to be until my son was about 4 months old. My pregnancy was great, 😊 very normal. Think positive thoughts and know that you and baby will be just fine. Love is it. Oh my goodness my Son is the best thing ever, so cool this love.❤️

Had my daughter at 36 with lupus, high risk pregnancy's but no issues with lupus. Was kept on my Plaquenil and had lovenox injections to prevent miscarriage's but she is 10 now and healthy.

Just check with the specialist with regards your meds,
Ive had 4 healthy wonderful children,
