Wondering how you guys were diagnosed? I have every symptom of fibro yet my doctor told me not to worry about it, she said all they so is put you on anti-depressants. I know theres not much treatment if I did have it but I didn’t like the way my doctor ignored it

It was just part of my initial diagnosis. My rheumatologist says its difficult to diagnose after a lupus diagnosis because they share so many symptoms

Gabapentin was given to me i was on 600mg 4 times a day and found out if u stop cold turkey off it u can have seizure so it took me a while to get off of it . Your mood can change also so I'd think twice about taking this and it did nothing for pain for me . Just becareful on it

Im sorry your Dr acts like its nothing, have you been diagnosed with Lupus, my lupus medication seems to help with my fibro also, I’m on Cymbalta yes its a antideppresant but it has been proven it helps with the pain, also if I’m not misstaken I think they might have a blood test now you might want to research that.

I found out on my 30th birthday 20 years ago. I was lucky my doctor caught it the first time. Been on Plaquenil and Celebrex. I have been very lucky. Occasional joint pain and spelling. My biggest issue is digestive problems every morning if you know what I mean. Drives me crazy.

@A MyLupusTeam Member i’m in the beginning stages of my diagnosis but im on plaquenil. She mentioned the anti depressants but she said she doesnt recommend taking them unless the pain is affecting my day to day. I might see a neuro doctor about it
