Hi! My doctor recommended possibly trying Imuran since I have been taking prednisone but started having chest pain and ectopic beats (skipped beats) after being on it a couple months. It seems more intense so I was wondering if anyone has been on it . How did it make you feel? Did it work? Side effects?

I'm currently taking Imuran and have been on it for a little over a year. I recently asked my rheumatologist to take me off of it because during the entire duration of treatment, I've kept getting constant infections (viral, bacterial, fungal). I had no other negative side effects other than the infections. It helped with lessening my lupus symptoms, but I cant stand having a suppressed immune system.
