Hello Lupe family how are you this evening. I hope everyone is pain-free tonight just curious does anyone feels like their throat feels sore even if you take Tums or omeprazole. That feeling still there . Feels Phlegm your back throat . I think it’s allergies but not sure. What can you take for it ? Thank you all 🙏♥️
I have this almost all year round. It is from my sinuses draining down my throat all the time. I swallow more times a day than I ever have. It is getting worse each and every year. I have a drink in a metal cup with a metal straw that stays real cold for me. I have it with me all the time all day and even on my night stand at night as I get awake every hour during the night to drink. It does help. I also have throat cough drops all year round to help. I have a Vicks nasal inhaler. I also use Vicks on my forehead and on my cheeks as it helps me. I have constant sinus infections. They too are getting more frequent and occur all year long. It seems every month I get another sinus infection. I have been to specialists. They told me they see a lot of patients that have Lupus and/or Fibromyalgia. They feel are compromised immune systems account for this. I have a sore throat all the time. My gums get sore as well and I also get what feels like abscessed teeth, but I had all my teeth pulled more that 30 years ago and it still feels like I get them when I have these sinus infections. Hugs and prayers to you and all who suffer with this. Hugs and prayers. God bless.
So Luis has caused major acid reflux. However, sometimes it isn’t acid reflux. Sometimes it’s Sjogrens that causes sore throat and thick mucous. I say this because I have it and my teeth will hurt and the sides of my cheeks swell. Maybe look up Sjogrens and learn to massage your glands even the ones under your jaw. Also I take Sudafed. I know it sounds contradictory but it helps. Warm compresses help and warm salt water also.
When I have a flare the Sjogrens acts up. I get hundreds of stones if I don’t massage my glands and take Sudafed. Hope this info helps.
Margaret I don’t have sore mouth or tongue. Try to gargle salt warm water helps
