Lately my sleep problems have intensified. I've always have trouble sleeping and do take trazodone for sleep but it's not working. No matter how tired or bad I feel my body just won't sleep. It seems like the more I try the harder it is. My doctor didn't say much. The only change and maybe the reason is that recently I weaned myself off opioids. My doctor left town, I didn't have much choice. I'm dealing with the pain as well as possible, with taking about 10% of the meds I was taking but… read more

Lavender oil with coconut or olive oil. Chamomile tea or sleepytime tea by celestial seasonings is good. A warm bath with epsom salt in lavender is good.

@GenlancoYankowski my rheumatologist wrote me a prescription for CBD oil, which he faxed directly to a Medical Marijuana company. From there, a Dr called me and she worked out the dosage etc.
I started with CBD oil but it made me really sick.
Now I use a vape and take only one puff at bedtime. It has THC in it, but the Sedamen just makes you sleepy and relaxed.

On days when I am in awful pain, I can use a CBD (no thc) capsule.

If I didn’t have teens in the house I’d go for the gummies.

I am so sorry! When I was on prednisone I could not sleep at all until I got a script for CBD.
Not sure where you stand on the whole cannibis thing, but it was a game changer for me.
Sleep is vital to us.

Have you tried benadryl ? I sometimes use that to help with sleep. My doctor said it's ok to use once in awhile and it's not habit forming and you can get it with out a script

Thanks for your kind answers and help. I'm going to pick up some melatonin tomorrow and see if that helps. I'm starting to dread night time and that just makes things worse. I worry about not being able to sleep, and get anxious and that makes it worse.
Working on relaxation exercises but struggling with those.
