Has Anyone Had Heart Palpitations Go On For Atleast 2 Days With No Chest Pain?

A MyLupusTeam Member asked a question 💭
Port Charlotte, FL

So I’m on week 2 of the low back, hip pain and abdominal bloating (waiting for a ct), the heart palpitations started last night into today on and off all day. I’m not stressed, no caffeine. Just want opinions, hubby thinks my Graves’ disease may be back but now Dr wants ekg…. I hate this because I’m 2 weeks away from getting my health insurance!

I understand the itching and palpitations. It is scary. Pray you have a great doctor. It has gotten where I have lupus rash all over my body. But I don't let it get me down. Will put you on my pray list. Please keep me informed on how you are doing. God Bless & Be Safe.

Trish5, that's what I'm on as lupus made my resting heart rate 125 bpm. I wore a heart monitor for a month to see if it was a heart issue or lupus. Lupus was the culprit, so we added another pill to my regime. With propranolol, my resting heart rate is down to 80 bpm. Hope it helps you!

I get palpitation feelings. Its from preventricular contractions and miteal regurgitation. Lupus can affect the heart. Its a good thing you are getting it checked out.

Lol @A MyLupusTeam Member I figured you would add anything important I left out. Mine was a simplified explanation and I agree about it affecting peripheral nerves with and without demyelination. Thanks for the assist 🤗 😆

@A MyLupusTeam Member I had just got back into doing yoga until this hip back thing started, I eat pretty healthy, I cook most often and use organic mostly. I have always had low bp but yes there have been times it’s dropped and I have almost passed out. So if I’m understanding what your saying because of Lupus I may be staying in an inflamed state, which could essentially be causing my whole group of problems..
After reading your paragraph I felt so dumb lol 😂 😂 you are so smart! I need to have an EP in my back pocket all the time for my many questions!! But seriously Thank you 😊 without this group I think I would have lots more days of frustration and tears..
