I have redness and heat at weird places now. Since a couple of days, it’s the tips of all my fingers and nails that are red and hot, I can even feel my heart beat at the end of my fingers, kinda weird feeling 🙄. Check side effects for meds or read up on erythromelalgia. If you have poly myositis you might not feel the pain. Hope this helps
GenlancoYankowski. Thanks for the information. I already had laboratory tests done for CK but not for the aldonase. I also had an EMG of the 4 limbs in November 2021 and it was normal. The only thing I didn’t have is the biopsy. I hope the real rheumatologist will be able to find out what’s the problem in 2 months in May. I live in a small town and we don’t have specialists for those rare diseases. The rheumatologist I will see is at Fredericton, it’s a 3 hours ride from where I live.
