Less carbs, eat more fruits and veggies. Water water water and walking for 30 mins after meals. You can do it!

Hi Hanna, some docs believe type 2 diabetes can be avoided and even cured by a low carb/sugar diet. I've heard this theory about cancer and autoimmune diseases as well. I worry about getting diabetes since my dad had it and all of my kids were over 10lbs at birth (even though I am on the thin side). I do watch my carbs and sugar and try to keep the carbs under 35 grams a day. I recently stopped prednisone after five months. I noticed it raised my glucose levels substantially. So glad to be off it. Maybe now, I can sleep.

I just have to take one small pill, Glimeperide, and watch my sugar and carb intake and try to exercise. DR wants me to lose 35 pounds, hmmmm.
