I have been dealing with pruritus for months, was tested for everything. No dr figured it out however, thyroid and liver, and allergies can cause it. ( make sure you get those checked)

Allergist/ immunologist yesterday. I have lots of environmental allergies, long story short she said I can take up to 4 Zyrtec( cetirizine) a day for itching, if that doesn’t work there is a once a month injection that can be given in the office.
This is all if you have no rash or hives showing. If you have something showing go to allergist or dermatologist…

I only get that sensation occasionally on the top of my feet. It doesn't last very long so I haven't addressed.

I had the sensations of being stung all over. I researched Alpha Lipoic acid and began taking that. As long as I take one pill per day, it keeps this sensation away. It has saved me.

It could also be that that your B vitamins are low. I also take L-methylfolate to help process folate and folic acid

Yes!! I have it on my feet and hands. Dr's have said it is result of peripheral neuropathy. Also causes burning sensation and sharp pains in feet and hands. Using Lyrica and alpha lipoic acid daily.
