Due to “The Opioid Epidemic 🙄”, I had to start seeing pain management for opioid medications about 5-6 years ago as my rheumatologist no longer prescribed them. I’ve had bilateral hip replacements and back surgery but those are not the reason for my pain. I cannot seem to make pain management understand this though I tell them this at every monthly appointment. It’s frustrating! They continually suggest joint injections, epidurals, and nerve blocks. Does anyone else fight this?

I do deal with pain from time to time.. like now i am in the GYM. workinh out keeps alot of my inflammation away and the pain at a minimum. Listen to your body and get plenty of rest!

I see a pain management that handles my back, knee and Lupus pain. I receive radio-frequency ablations on my back and they are amazing. But I do get prescribed Morphine and Oxycodone to help manage it.. there are great pain management doctors out there, just have to find them..
