I'd like to cut out foods that cause inflammation, I was reading that a Mediterranean diet is helpful to people with lupus. Has anyone tried that? Or anything that they find beneficial? Thinking about adding more fish as well.
Thanks for your help!

I eat as close to a Mediterranean diet as I can. I eat fish, chicken, lentils, beans, lots and lots of vegetables, fruits and nuts. And the most important ingredient: the olive oil, for everything. I also have been eating moren vegetarian meat than actual meat lately, as I like their taste.

I just completed the Medical Medium 3-6-9 simplified cleanse it really helped my symptoms. Will try to stay gluten free, less animal protein, lots of vegetables and fruit, not too much salt and vinegar.

When I dropped ALL grains I saw a lot of improvements immediately.

Yes! Totally agree with JulieAWade and her comment about whole foods. It's super hard to cut out processed foods, but I worry that added ingredients and chemicals and preservatives make our autoimmune diseases worse. I once had half a cantaloupe for breakfast and felt SOOO good for several hours.
