I've never had a skin yeast infection before. It started with a three inch open wound on the bottom side of my abdomen that suddenly appeared one morning and then showed up under my breasts, armpits and groin. The doctor gave me cream and power for it. It went away and has now returned. Is this related to my lupus?

I have loose skin folds from both wright loss and spinal changes and yeast develops in those folds. I have to keep those areas clean and dry to avoid the pain and itching. Haven't used any medication.

Yes I have been battling a skin yeast infection just on my groin area where my leg creases are. I talked to my doctor and she gave me nyastatin for it, I also try to only wear cotton to absorb the moisture in those areas.
