I’m 68. My new rhemy my (old Dr retired) has re-run tests. He felt i may not have anything now. My ANA is neg, even my anti phospholipid is neg now? Some 36 yrs ago I had a stroke and numerous blood clots. I tested positive then. Any help before my next appt? I do not feel fine, but I am much better than I was.

Yes, it's great you're feeling better, but keep taking care of yourself! We can develop active disease again even after periods when we're better or in remission.

Lupus can test neg and ipositive depending on where you are with the disease. It is a strange one. If you are in a flare it definitely will test pos. No symptoms it may test negative. One never knows. I've tested both ways a number of times yet it is all there including brain lesions. Just stick with your rheumy and they will advise.
