Hey y'all,
Just curious what your go to breakfast items are?
I am not a big breakfast eater so I have to force myself. More often than not I grab a banana so I have something in my tummy for all the meds that follow. Would love some new ideas.

I usually eat a couple of eggs and maybe a piece of rye toast. Or a bowl of cereal with a cup of herbal tea.

@A MyLupusTeam Member,WOW lots of ideas!! But if you are like me too much effort in the Am, is Not for me. Henry has Great idea of making ahead of time and freezing. Hes a Smart man!
My go to, esp when working was GREEK yogurt (not sure what non-dairy yogurt is, where to even buy 😉)
If you are in a budget, go Aldi, stock up kn Greek yogurt. And eat with Berries! Simple! Protein and puts something in tummy for ALL the meds.
Easy to grab a bite or 2 at nite too. I woke up with fevers at nite and had to take something quick and easy. 😴
Hope that helps.💜
*be careful with Nsaids, ie.. ibuprofen, Aleve etc HARD on kidneys.

I’m not a big breakfast eater.
I was gaining weight with all the meds taken at different times and needing to be taken with food.
My mom said “It doesn’t have to be a whole meal” which reminded me little servings of healthy foods will do.
I try to rotate and come up with new ideas.
Morning meds quickly with 12oz water (because they all seem to dehydrate me & often cause constipation), 1Tbsp organic cold pressed olive oil and one of these:
1. Gluten free whole grain toast with almond butter and small fruit serving
2. 1 Egg (fried or scrambled) 1/2 piece toast and sm fruit serving
3. 1 pkg of Plum organic puréed vegetable and fruit pouch (found in baby food section of stores)
4. 1/2 C Organic yogurt with
1/2C fresh fruit mixed in
5. Tostado tortilla with fresh sliced seasoned avocado
6. I cup cooked Steel cut oatmeal seasoned with organic raw honey and fresh fruit
7. Just a whole v piece of sm fruit (nectarine, plum, apple) or handful of grapes, blueberries, strawberries.
8. Raw veggies or small salad

No one ever said we have to eat strictly breakfast foods for breakfast.
I may eat just one bite of fruit with each medication/vitamin and drink my water after. Then have a healthy lunch later when I’m hungry.
Berries are really good for us so I try to get varieties.

Hugs!
