I used to wear a medic alert bracelet. I'm not sure why I stopped. I used to have very severe seizures, but my seizures are very mild now and they are very infrequent. I only have maybe 1 every 2 weeks now, not 15-20 a day, like before. I was told that people on steroids, like Prednisone should list that on a bracelet.
I was just looking at some
I am thinking that it probably is a good idea, with take the meds that we take. Will have to get one. Thanks for sharing😃
Thanks…..I’ll take a look.
Google medical alert bracelets (and most likely necklaces) and you'll get a whole slew of options that'll pop up. Anything from a sturdy, basic wrist watch band type to some nice bling! :) There also appears to be some with other options such as the one at https://www.roadid.com/. Here you can have a profile on their website that emergency responders, ERs, etc. can access through a PIN# on the bracelet. There's a site at https://lifeid.health/ that is a QR code and comes with a free profile dashboard. Both allow you to keep a lot more information (such as a current medication list) on the website than you could possibly fit onto a bracelet or necklace. These are just two examples, look through a bunch of the ones that you like and see what all they offer. I plan to do some perusing myself.
