For example I was walking in San Francisco (30 min)a few days ago it was only 80 degrees. I had a hat and sunblock. My hands and neck puffed up followed by pain in my hands, then it feels like my fingers are breaking ( doctor says it's not RA) Also I feel like my breathing is more difficult.I'm constantly being told to lose weight but this is what happens when I do. Anyone else?
Again I pass along what I once heard Dr. Niranjana say a colleague told her. When someone says “well you don’t look sick,” say, “well you don’t look stupid!” Ouch!! Lol
This and Wikipedia were the sites that had any information on exercise resistance. I suggest you try indoor walking exercises with YouTube videos. Maybe that can help build your resistance up.

ShainaLa, sorry. The most important thing is to take care yourself and do what you can, or what your body allows you to do.
We look "healthy" ( i am very swollen), but only us know how is living with lupus/ immune illnesses.
If you want, let the significant others read about Lupus symptoms.
How old are you? Only do what your body can do. Don't push it or you might pull a muscle or something.
When I explained to the doctor my symptoms like extremely swelling hands/ fingers, muscle spasms, swollen face, etc., when I do exercise, he said you have "exercise resistance" 🥴🤦 I never heard it before.
I continue doing exercises like walking and water aerobics if I feel well, but anyway I have to rest a lot after doing exercises because they strain my energy.
