The rash will eventually go away it's just part of the disease. Be careful putting anything close to your face. It could be another form of lupus such as discord lupus. I found that out from the dermatologist. I get it in my ears and scalp.

Is there a visible rash? Can you please share a picture?

I use aveeno body wash and hemp lotion for my rushes. Ask your Dr about the steroid cream.
