I'm sorry it's been so hard! My counselor has helped me a lot,and while I do know focusing on gratitude has been helpful for me, please know that God does not always expect us to be positive. He understands how hard it is to just survive...He will never leave us or forsake us! As a follower of Jesus, I'm looking forward to heaven and being forever healed!!
Counseling, self care, and dietary restrictions
Sorry you're going through a difficult one at the moment. It can be real hard to sleep when feeling so much pain and then there's that low feeling to add to it. For me I take it one day at a time. I literally feel blessed when I wake up in the morning and blessed when I go to sleep at night because I've seen another day through. The more we distract our minds with happy thoughts and positivity the easier the pain gets to manage as they are natural pain killers. There's other things that can help too but one step at a time 😊. We can't let lupi and friends get the better of us. It must never win. We are fighters and so are you Tracy. Every morning when you wake up, put a smile on your face and tell yourself you've lived to fight another day. Waking up is the first achievement and blessing of the day. Getting out of bed is the second. Say a prayer of thanks that you've already accomplished two things for the day and pray for the strength to continue to have more achievements. Keep faith and hope in your heart and never lose site of either one. You are here so you are strong and just need to build on it. I know you can do it Tracy and I as well as the others are here for you, to keep you going through those doors that lupus puts in our way. Believe in yourself and your abilities to fight and it will not beat you 💜😊.
