I take Estradiol orally. No issues at all. I have to tell you ladies that since I've been focusing on my gut health, so many of my problems are diminishing. It's been so amazing!!

Mrs V, I use the cream. I, too, was concerned about the flare and other risks. My urogynecologist assured me that studies have assessed the blood levels of the drug and they are EXTREMELY low. I've had no problems. I would never take oral estrogen, but estradiol cream has a good safety profile, though not recommended in those with a breast cancer history.

I use estrace cream or estradiol three times a week to my urethra and vaginal area to keep the tissue supply and healthy.

I use the low dosage Estradiol Patch and have been on it for over a year and I also use the vaginal cream and have not had any issues. However, each person is different and responds differently.

Hi there. Hope your well. Never tried but honestly. I found out something happened to me back in high school. Long story short. I got tired of doctor telling me this and that and decided I put plain yogurt in my area. Yes. It was cold but it was soothing. I don't know or think you want to do that. But to be honest it helped me when I had problems and was too afraid to wash and everything. I looked online on article and that lady wasn't wrong. It helped her so I tried it and it helped me.
