Have another UTI. Doctor gave me generic Bactrim DS. Been feeling awful lots of aches and pains not associated with UTI. Can Bactrim cause a flare? Can Lupus cause UTIs? I go to a urogynacologist Wednesday to try and figure out why I keep getting these.

We should NEVER take bactrim, as it's known to cause flares!!!

It's worthwhile just adding it to our medication allergy/intolerance lists in our medical records to be sure we never get it.

It's a great idea to see urogynecology, and D-mannose and cranberry have helped me tremendously with the frequent UTI problem. Take care, MB!

It could be possible for you to be allergic to it, if that happens it absolutely could cause a flare, same can be said that the uti itself can cause a flare up. Our bodies will only only tolerate so much at a time. I hope those scenarios are not the case and that you begin to see improvement.πŸ™πŸ’œ
